CEO Roundtable: Collaboration, Ideas, Relationships
Spring is just about here out on the west coast and CEOs from around the credit union industry got a taste of it when they attended the Cornerstone Advisor’s CEO Roundtable in San Diego, CA. A variety of important topics were at the forefront of conversation including cybersecurity, performance management, collaboration, industry trends and strategy. The roundtable discussions were led by three Cornerstone executives, all with plenty of relevant experience and knowledge to be able to inspire attendees over the course of the three day conference.
The layout of events for the conference was simple, and straightforward with most of the time being reserved for roundtable discussions. The only exception was day one of the conference where there was no formal roundtable. The day was instead reserved for attendees to participate in a golf outing with other credit union CEOs, or explore the sights of San Diego on their own. If attendees weren’t able to make the golf outing or network with other CEOs on their own, there were plenty of opportunities to do so each day during the breakfast and dinner receptions. For what we heard, everyone had a great time, so jealous we couldn't make it.
Although day one of the conference may have seemed like a short vacation, days two and three got down to business. Each one devoted hours of time to discuss the various topics that were featured and attendees received no shortage of information by the end of it all. It would have been valuable interaction with fellow industry executives for anyone looking to stay ahead of the curve. CEOs who attended were able to return to their credit unions with something new to try or implement into their existing strategies.
