Humanitarian Highlight 1/30/20: Stronger Together
Hello everyone! We hope everyone has had an awesome week so far and is ready to get the weekend started (Minus working tomorrow, Friday). In today's #HumanitarianHighlight, we have many different ways credit unions have decided to give back to their community. We continue to be baffled by how much each financial institution has taken the time to show their community how much they care. Do you know of any credit union who has done a great act of kindness? Tag them by using #HumanitarianHighlight or message us, and we will gladly give them a shout out in our blog posts and social media accounts!
Each year, this wonderful credit union picks a non-profit to donate to from their Holiday Party raffle. This year, TBA CU donated $1,250 to the Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center!
“The Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center brings help, hope, and healing to children and families in the aftermath of an allegation of sexual abuse, physical abuse, or witness to a violent crime. For some, the path to healing is clear. For others, the obstacles may seem impossible. Regardless of their trauma, their level of need, or their ability to pay, the TBCAC is here to help.” Traverse Bay Children's Advocacy Center
