From their Casual for a Cause Program, Heartland FCU presented a $3,000 check to the American Red Cross!
During their #CU1LUV Day event, CU1 held a silent auction for Women in Safe Homes (WISH). Surpassing their record last year, CU1 matched their donation with WISH making the grand total come out to $13,000!
During their ribbon cutting at their newest location, Town & Country CU announced that they donated $50,000 to the Magic City Discovery Center. The donation will help sponsor the Digital Human Quilt exhibit for an effort where kids can take selfies and have a great time!
Their incredible charitable foundation held the 5th Annual Alan M. Hart Memorial Charity Golf Classic, which raised a grand total of $150,000!!
In the early hours of the morning, volunteers from CapEd CU participated in the Supermarket Dash at Ridley’s Market in Middleton. At the end of the rounds, they were able to collect $679.23 worth of food which will be donated to The Idaho Foodbank.
“The Idaho Foodbank is an independent, donor-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1984 and is the largest distributor of free food assistance in Idaho. From warehouses in Boise, Lewiston, and Pocatello, the Foodbank has distributed more than 135 million pounds of food to Idaho families through a network of more than 230 community-based partners. These include rescue missions, church pantries, emergency shelters, and community kitchens. The Foodbank also operates direct-service programs that promote healthy families and communities through good nutrition.” The Idaho Foodbank
During their #DoGood campaign, this terrific credit union was able to fund $10,000 for the new mural at WOW! Children’s Museum.
Being well known for helping their community, Quincy CU has supplied 600 backpacks with school supplies stuffed in. Taking the summer to prepare each individual backpack, each one of them was placed on top of a desk awaiting the students' return!
For the sixth year in a row, this incredible credit union is helping make a change to ensure all children are safe. Canyon State CU is the proud sponsor of Caring for Kids program, which will run November 18th through December 6th on KTAR. With a diaper donation goal set higher than last year, Canyon State CU is determined to surpass it!
