Humanitarian Highlight 2/20/2020: Pure Souls

Each credit union mentioned below has and will continue to demonstrate how pure their souls are for helping those in need within their community. Youth mental health is so important and can be a very fragile subject to talk about. Ent CU has taken the stance in helping create a #CUdifference by presenting a check to Children’s Hospital Colorado! Ent CU is also representing their $1.2M 3-year commitment to help address youth mental health and teen suicide.

Thinking of the future, St. Mary’s Bank donated a generous amount of $5,000 to help purchase 25 Chromebooks for McLaughlin Middle School in Manchester.

Hearing how Gardner Municipal Golf Course reached out to the community for help in needing a replacement for the steep downhill golf cart paths by holes 16 & 18, GFA FCU came to the rescue to donate $2,000 for the project.
Loving their community, Guardians CU attended the South Florida Race For the Cure, which 15,000 people attended! The total amount of money that was collected and donated came up to $500,000.
Not willing to back down for their community, Andrews FCU helped support Habitat For Humanity Restore by assisting with installing vignettes to display in windows and showrooms! Outstanding teamwork!
Eager to help give back to their community, Eagle Community CU employees volunteered at Mary’s Kitchen to help provide food for people in need! The greatest thing about this credit union is that they encourage all of their employees to volunteer multiple times in a year to help get acquainted with their community members and to give back to people in need.
Well, UC Hockey Night was a success! Congratulations to all and for First Source FCU for raising $1,440 to be donated to the firefighters who are battling the fires in Australia!
This incredible credit union and their employees raised a total of $1,292 for Vet Together through their Jeans for Charity Program!
Is everyone ready for this?! Let’s give a big round of applause to New Dimensions FCU for raising a total amount of $40,580.31 for MECUL’s Ending Hunger in Maine, Special Olympics Maine, Maine Children’s Cancer Program, and CULAC. Outstanding!
