Humanitarian Highlight 7/16/2020: A Compassionate Industry

How awesome are A+ FCU’s staff?! Daniel, Erika, and Desiree took the time to volunteer with Backpack Friends in an effort to distribute prepackaged food to children in need.

Not only is this credit union caring for their members, but they also LOVE working alongside their community to help create a better living environment for many. Kansas State University FCU donated $1,000 AND distributed 112 pounds of food to the Flint Hills Breadbasket! (This organization helps provide food to those in need.)

Thinking of a brilliant way to spread joy to their members while also helping out their community, Chevron FCU set up an annual food drive while having teams compete against each other to come up with the most money. The total amount of money raised was $19,000!
InRoads CU has donated a total of $73,074.05 to not one, but THREE Columbia County High Schools! Way to go #CUfamily!
This is just wonderful! Sharon & Crescent United CU awarded 24 participants $500 each from an online and mobile banking sweepstakes. Next time, SIGN US UP!
This credit union is so amazing. Electro Savings CU recently donated $1,000 to Operational Food Search from the funds of their First Virtual Annual Meeting. Thank you for always thinking of your community!
Get ready for this, everyone! Achieva CU presented $30,000 to the Florida Food Banks AND they are willing to donate up to $200,000 more in matching donations from their community. SO, partnering with the Michigan Credit Union Foundation’s Community Crisis support, 11 area credit unions partnered up to help deliver $18,000 to Feeding America West Michigan’s Hunger Relief in a total of 13 counties. (Update: a total of $275,000 was raised!! WAY TO GO, EVERYONE!)
