Happy Thursday everyone! We are back with another #HumanitarianHighlight to show off what these amazing and thoughtful CUs were up to!
Notre Dame FCU: Donated an outstanding amount of $10,000 to the Kelly Cares Foundation. A foundation the helps inspire hope by investing resources in Health & Education initiatives within the community.
Beacon FCU: Donating every year towards a Needy Fund, Beacon FCU underwent a tragedy when 15 families lost all everything due to the fire. Going above and beyond, the employees at Beacon FCU decided to use some of the money to donate $500 to help the families out during the challenging time.
Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates: Presented an outstanding $135,935 check to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Honor Credit Union: Due to amazing fundraising efforts, the Oshtemo branch presented a check for $1,250 to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety’s K9 team. With the money, it will help go toward the purchase of new K-9 bite suits to help train their patrol dogs.
New England FCU: Donated a miraculous amount of $1 million to help renovate the UVM Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This will help the NICU improve on the space and will have a more welcoming environment for families.
Lake Trust CU: Donated $2,500 worth of pajamas to Jamar’s Jammies for underprivileged youth in troubled areas giving a positive impact in the community.
GO FCU: Through fundraising and the generosity of their members and staff, GO FCU were able to donate $2,500 to the Children’s Hospital in Dallas, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
Credit Union of Texas: Presented a $3,500 check to members of the McKinney Police Department. The donated money will go towards purchases of new police sashes which will be used to easily identify officers during crisis situations.
