Humanitarian Highlight 7/26: Centered Around Community
Hey everyone! Welcome back to our weekly installment of our Humanitarian Highlight. The credit unions we have this week have proven they are centered around community through their donations, volunteer work, and efforts. Check them out!
Navigant CU employees donated 1,200 children’s items to support Meeting Street and their Early Intervention Program.
Knoxville TVA Employees CU awarded grants to 39 local schools totaling more than $55,000.
Municipal CU partnered with a local college to provide convenient banking services to its students.
Pelican State CU hosted a free credit workshop for their local community.
First Community FCU raised $5,500 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Astera CU donated $358 to the Ionia County Animal Shelter.
St. Helens CCU members helped raise over $21,000 for three local high schools through a debit card promotion.
