Humanitarian Highlight 12/6: Social Responsibility
We are back with none other than a Humanitarian Highlight to help wind down the week. These CUs are going above and beyond to help out their community!
Rivermark Community CU walked alongside survivors, friends and family at the 2018 Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Their extraordinary efforts surpassed their fundraising goal and raised $6,280!
First Financial Federal CU 's Erma Dorrer Grant went out to Desire'e LoVoi of Land O Pines School & Danielle Farley of Ramtown School to implement the Raz-Kids Reading Program.
Dakotaland FCU presented the Beadle County Humane Society with $1,293.20 from the Annual Halloween Bake Sale.
Redwood CU played a part in rebuilding the Santa Rosa Unified Soccer Club with $25,000.
Sioux Falls FCU presented $24,831.74 to the Sioux Empire United Way.
North Island CU proudly gave five incoming freshman at San Diego State University (SDSU) a dorm room makeover & a school supply scholarship.
OneAZ CU announced that more than 35 non-profit organizations, Tucson Flagstaff, and other communities around AZ will be granted a total of $55,000, with individual grants ranging from $500-$2,500.
