These credit unions have demonstrated their #CUdifference within their communities and we can't be more proud to share their experiences and inspirations with you all. Do you know what’s the best thing about working for a credit union? Partaking in different event to help benefit those in need! Collins Community CU devoted their time in participating in the 2019 Fight For Air Climb – Des Moines which had over 1,300 come together to support the American Lung Association. This fabulous CU climbed a total of 8 flights of stairs which then equaled to raising $1,240.36. Way to go team!
This incredible credit union participated in the SACTOWN Run and donated $10,000 to help support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Donated $11,035 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation- Alabama Chapter. The mobile, AL branches are amazingly still raising money, so make sure you had over to their branch or you can make your donation online, before May!
With a hoping to raise $10,000, their goal was surpassed to $29,150, in an effort to be donated to the Worcester County Food Bank! To make it even more amazing, Workers CU promised the Worcester County Food Bank $5 to every new member or account downloaded on the mobile app. Guess what? Their pledge worked and exceeded their expectations.
Were involved and contributed at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run and raised an astounding amount of $400,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Joining forces with many credit unions to help create an impact, speaks power! #peoplehelpingpeople
Donated $100,000 to the Greater Burlington YMCA Youth Developmental Program!!

We are tremendously excited to be reaching $9 million dollars in total funds raised with this year's race. What better way for credit unions to show their commitment to the communities they serve…“Credit Union Miracle Day is a partnership of over 100 credit unions, CUSOs and partner organizations united to sponsor the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run promoting awareness of the credit union difference and benefitting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide.” Running USA
